Craig F. Knight
Craig brings a wide range of experience in corporate law, investment banking as well as founding, managing and selling several start-up companies. Craig's operational background includes CEO roles at a variety of innovative technology companies including Protean Electric (a manufacturer of in-wheel electric motors) and Shell Shock Technologies (a supplier of lightweight stainless steel cartridge cases to the global ammunition industry).
—Craig is the Co-Founder of a specialty tool manufacturing company and a specialty vehicle manufacturing company (Hotrods & Horsepower). Craig also co-founded the boutique investment banking firm, Knight, Tallman & Company, LLC, with offices in New York, Atlanta, London and Zurich, that raised over $2.5 billion in equity and invested in over $13.5 billion in infrastructure transactions. Craig's educational background includes a BA/MA degree in Law from Oxford University and an LLM degree in Corporate Law from New York University.
Andrew J. Vallance
Prior to GSD, Andrew held various Engineering and Business Development roles at VC-backed tech companies, including Protean Electric (which Andrew represented as a Technology Pioneer at multiple World Economic Forum Events), and Shell Shock Technologies. Andrew has experience with introducing innovative designs/ products to market and helping companies to grow through B2C, B2B and JV routes.
Andrew has varied additional experience including company strategy, product launch, investor relations, fund raising, financial modeling, contact building and raising public/ industry awareness. He has built partnerships and worked with investors in the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and has assisted in raising over $160 million in direct investment with $245 million of additional investment offers. Andrew has also provided Strategy and Business Development advisory/ consulting services to a range of companies in a diverse selection of industries. Andrew has both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Engineering Design & Appropriate Technology from Warwick University.
